I hate to say it, but the last couple of weeks have largely been pretty boring when it comes to Apple stuff. There have been a couple of minor things. Software update for the iPhone. And notice of a iPhone security hole. Which Apple promises to fix in September. But by-in-large, nothing. Let's see...
Apple and AT&T are alleged to be working on allowing your laptop to be tethered to your iPhone. If you're not familiar with the term, it basically means that regardless where you are you will be able to get your laptop on the Internet so long as you are in range of the AT&T cellular network. This is not a replacement for WiFi connections, but it's a nice option to have when you are say in the middle of a parking lot, or in bung-hole nowhere.
Russia and China are both trying to get the iPhone working for them.
It never fails to amaze me how many people still think that Apple is a trivial company, with unimpressive products. When you have government run businesses rearranging their operations to fit you in, you are a player.
Well, hopefully the next few weeks will bring us more Mac news. Talk to you soon.
Enjoy the holiday weekend, America.

Well. I'm dRod, host of a couple of blogs on Blogger. Among my interests you will find everything Apple. So I'll be going on about things I like and don't like about Apple, the Mac and everything else Apple related.
